SILENT HILL: Townfall platforms and PC requirements

PS5 and PC only — and nothing on Xbox, Switch or last generation.

Townfall is listed for PlayStation 5, Steam and the Epic Games Store, all unlocking on September 24, 2026. There is no Xbox version and none has been announced, and there is no Switch or Switch 2 version either. Valve has not rated Steam Deck compatibility, so that row stays Unverified rather than being guessed.

PlayStation 5 and PC, nothing else. Every platform SILENT HILL: Townfall ships on — and the ones it does not — with a status, a source and a check date on every row.

How to read the chips. Verified means an official first-party source states it. Not announced means the absence is itself the verified fact — we have checked the official channels on the date shown and there is nothing there. Unverified means the platform holder has not published a verdict, so we do not invent one.

If a platform appears later, the thing that will change first is Konami's official pre-order page and the platform's own store listing. This page will be re-dated when that happens.

What Konami says those tiers buy you. The store description states: minimum requirements "should enable to play on Low settings at 1080p 30fps", and recommended requirements "should enable play on High settings at 4K 30fps (using DLSS, FSR or TSR Balanced mode)".

Three practical notes that follow from the official text rather than from us:

  1. The storage number is the same for both tiers. 75 GB whether you are on minimum or recommended, so the download size does not shrink because your machine is weaker.
  2. The 4K figure is a 30 fps figure, and it assumes upscaling. Konami's own wording attaches "using DLSS, FSR or TSR Balanced mode" to the 4K/30 target. There is no published 60 fps target at any resolution.
  3. Windows 11 is the stated minimum OS. Windows 10 is not listed as supported by the developer's own requirement text.

Elastic summary for "can my PC run it": an RTX 2060 Super-class card with 16 GB of RAM and a Ryzen 5 3600-class CPU is the floor for 1080p/30 on Low; an RTX 3080-class card with 32 GB is the stated configuration for 4K/30 on High with upscaling. The game is a 75 GB install on either tier.

PS5 Pro

The PlayStation Store marks SILENT HILL: Townfall as PS5 Pro Enhanced, which means it ships with a Pro-aware profile. That much is official and current.

What is not official is what that profile does. No frame-rate target, resolution target or mode list for PS5 Pro has been published by Konami, Sony or Screen Burn, and secondary reporting on the subject has not been confirmed against a first-party statement. We therefore publish the Enhanced label and stop there.

Pending verification: PS5 Pro frame-rate and resolution targets. Suggested path to close it: an official Konami/Screen Burn technical statement, a PlayStation Blog post, or a Digital Foundry-class frame-rate analysis conducted on retail hardware. Until one of those exists, any specific number you read elsewhere is unverified.

Steam Deck

Unverified. Steam has not published a Deck compatibility rating for this game — checked September 23, 2026.

We are deliberately not converting that into a yes or a no. "Unverified" is the honest state: Valve's programme has not passed a verdict, and the game's own requirement text lists Windows 11 and a discrete GPU floor well above the Deck's class, which is a reason for caution rather than a prohibition. If you want to try it, Steam's refund window is the practical safety net. Pending verification
